I love that feeling - the one when you lower your feet into an absolutely freezing country or mountain  stream. It’s almost heart attack territory, it’s such a shock to the system. Everything tingles wildly and you think: how long can I leave my feet in here before they freeze solid? And then - when you take them out and lie there in the warm sun……yowser! That’s the best feeling.
